YEEHAW: A WESTERN WELCOME AWAITS IN THE ONLINE GAME STAR STABLE

Star Stable, the world's biggest online horse adventure, is releasing an authentic western area. Since recently, country music, animal herding and cowboy boots have become part of the numerous features of the fictional game world Jorvik. Over a period of eight weeks, Star Stable celebrates the opening of its new Starshine Ranch with regular updates that meet the latest trends thanks to adventurous activities, new horses and special Western accessories. The Wild West is more in vogue than ever!

With this new content, Star Stable enhances its wide fantasy world, the exciting island Jorvik, with an area completely dedicated to everything Western. At the heart of it all is the new ranch Lisa, surrounded by brand new adventures. To kick off the Western area, new players can look forward to a great onboarding deal beyond the free first five levels.

The highlight for many players is the introduction of the American Quarter Horse, a typical Western riding breed. The new horse is available in the online game in different colors and features realistic movements like the iconic so-called sliding stops and spins. From April 30^th, the horse will also be accessible on the Horses mobile app by Star Stable.

“For the western update I have designed and animated the American Quarter Horse with an eye for detail.” Nomi Bontegard, 3D art designer at Star Stable, is a dedicated Western rider herself. “I started playing Star Stable myself when I had a little break with horses and can relate to the players and the childhood dream to get an own horse. Star Stable is a great way to get a horse if you don’t have the possibility to have one in real life.”

To access the new content, players simply need to hop on their horses and start their adventurous journey. After completing a few quests, they will reach the area called “Firgrove”, so far playable in the original design. The area can be reached even faster with the traditional Western wagon. In addition to new stables and paddocks, free-ranging sheep, longhorn cattle and donkeys as well as exciting community events and soon also a line dance-area are waiting to be explored by the users. Typical Western riding disciplines such as pole bending or barrel racing create an authentic riding experience thanks to special saddles and bosals in various designs.

Captivating Soul Rider adventures for everyone

The expansion is set amidst the story of the magical Soul Riders: The Starshine Ranch, home of popular in-game character Lisa Peterson, is the setting for the new western world. The expert for western riding originally is from Texas and is, besides her love for music, one of the four girls protecting Jorvik from dark forces: the so-called Soul Riders. The independent role-playing game playfully teaches helpful communication skills and a healthy sense of self-worth and sisterhood, since the Soul Riders encourage them to bravely follow their passions. A sense of belonging develops as the players work together with the Soul Riders on solving the exciting quests and puzzles. Alone, they are strong. Together, they are unstoppable.

Wild West feeling even outside the game

Beyond the online game, the new single “Simple Things” by Lisa Peterson will, in line with the expansion, be released on all streaming platforms. With the voice of Swedish singer Amanda Örtenhag, Lisa is already a popular musician in the game. As the first country song under its own label Star Stable Music, the new release clearly stands out from previous releases – and underlines all the more the unique feeling of Western riding!
